Each spring, Yamba Malawi celebrates another year of empowering vulnerable communities at their fundraising gala. For 2018, the theme of the event is 'Chikondi chiri m'manja', a Malawian phrase that means 'love is in the hands.' We reflected this motif throughout the print and environmental design.
The YM logo represents both the sun rising over Lake Malawi and an abstracted face over a bowl. We play with this latter interpretation on the invitation.
